A new rumor has recently emerged that the galaxy far, far away could be looking to increase its television presence exponentially, with a brand new live-action show that would tie into the larger universe soon to be established by Walt Disney Films . . .

The site Cinelinx is reporting that a new Star Wars series is indeed ramping up, set to be shot in the same Pinewood locations as the upcoming movies. Allegedly, the new show has been on the back burner at Disney while schedules for the movies are finalized.

At the moment this is merely a rumor, so fans frothing at the mouth for a live-action show should keep those grains of salt handy. We would also be wise to remember that shortly after the release of 2005′s Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas had plotted out 100 episodes for a new series, titled Star Wars: Underworld. Described as “The Empire Strikes Back on steroids” in regards to tone and size.

That unfortunately, never came to fruition, but even now the concept is far from a given. So we’ll have to wait and see what becomes of this latest Star Wars TV rumor. We’ll certainly keep you updated on this upcoming project as more information becomes available . . .

Director Promises More Hulk In Upcoming Avengers: Age Of Ultron!

HEADER - Trasnsparent It seems that Marvel’s man-with-a-plan, Mr. Joss Whedon is back at it again as the filmmaker recently confirmed once more to fans that Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk will be much more prominently featured in the upcoming sequel, adding that he shot this movie very differently than the first, almost crafting it like a documentary . . .

“There is more Hulk in this movie than there was in the last film. But what I’m excited about is we shot this movie very differently. I was running a lot of cameras, I was shooting long lenses, which I don’t usually do. What I love is . . . we have the opportunity, because we went in with this mission statement, to shoot the Hulk like a character in a movie, and not like a Look what we’ve got!”

transparent_space “We also have . . look! Blurry ‘Hulk’s over there!’ Kinda bits, very quick shots. Everything isn’t, . . ‘We built the Hulk so for God’s sake, you’re going to watch him in this extra long take, full-frame, the whole time!’ We really got to make him one of the other characters in the movie. And that was a real gift.”

Director Reveals Juggernaut Was Almost In X-Men: Days Of Future Past!

HEADER - Trasnsparentspace barDuring an interview on the Empire Online podcast, original X-Men: Days of Futures Past director Matthew Vaughn went into full detail about how it was originally Juggernaut in the script that would have assisted in rescuing Magneto from maximum security prison & not the silver speedster Quicksilver as in the final film . . .

“I had Juggernaut being thrown out of a plane at 20,000 feet and using his head to go down a hole to get to the bottom of the White House to break into the prison.”

“I had Beast saying, I have a plan, and he says, What’s the plan? And they go higher and higher and Beast was going to go, This is it! and chuck him out the window. Then he smashed up the White House & finds Magneto.”space bar

As for the sequence moviegoers finally saw in the Bryan Singer film, Vaughn admitted that using Quicksilver was a much better decision, calling it the “best scene in the entire movie” and also adding that his version “would have made the movie much worse.”

In the end, having Juggernaut break Magneto out of prison in the way it was described wouldn’t have been nearly as true to the character or as fun to watch, but for those rapid fans out there, much of the X-film franchise has now been reset thanks to Wolverine’s time travel shenanigans, so there’s always a chance that we could see Juggernaut again someday . .
